Workshop | The Art of Portraiture

In this 5 hour/ two session online workshop, participants learn how to take compelling portraits, regardless of what camera they use. Attendees will be able to capture a self-portrait, and develop a deeper understanding of purpose, lighting and composition. The workshop will consist of a lecture, a live demonstration, post production tips, discussion of individual assignments, a group portfolio critique and Q/A.

Requirements: 
Digital camera with manual control, or Iphone, tripod, SD card, computer with SD card slot or card reader, and preferably a minimum of one month subscription to Adobe Lightroom Classic.


Dates and time:
Initial Session | Sunday, March 14th [2:30 -5:00pm]
Follow-up Session | Sunday, March 21st [2:30 -5:00pm].

Price: $45 | $25 students (w/ student ID).

Eli Dreyfuss is an award winning professional portrait photographer and filmmaker based in Miami, Florida. His work focuses on connecting and empowering people with their most genuine selves. Eli's work was published in FStoppers, Petapixel, and has been seen on NBC, The New York Times, and the History Channel. He has been named a National Young Arts Merit winner in Photography, and a recipient of 20 gold medals in the National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, a Future Curators Award from the Albright Knox Museum.
