For over a decade, Snap! Orlando has captured the interest and respect of art enthusiasts, artists, and critics around the world. Snap! has won multiple awards and has been widely recognized as a pioneer for its groundbreaking approach to visual arts, with the Augmented Reality public art project, CITY UNSEEN℠.

Snap!’s commitment to innovation, and bringing compelling visual art culture to Orlando has been a priority since day one. By continually introducing internationally renowned and culturally diverse artists as well as notable speakers to Orlando in an effort to galvanize and inspire the Central Florida community, Snap! provides educational enrichment and a greater appreciation of the photographic medium and new media art as significant cultural art forms.

As a registered 501(c)(3) arts organization (Snap! Celebrate the Photograph

Our goal is to boldly increase the visibility and appreciation of the photographic medium as a significant cultural art form, and broaden the demographic of engaged art enthusiasts and collectors within our community.

As a premier organizer of new media arts, our mission is three-tiered: recognize and honor master artists, discover and cultivate emerging talent, enhance the cultural vibrancy of the city.

Dear friends and followers,

When we first opened Snap! 15 years ago, my hope was to create a spark that would inspire a wider appreciation of the arts in Central Florida — and we did just that. From events that brought us together as a community, to connections built with artists from multiple continents, Snap! has been a passion project, and one I’m very proud of.

While difficult to do, it now feels like the right time to close this chapter. My health and personal battle with cancer over the years has become increasingly difficult, leading to many heart-to-heart conversations between my wife and partner, Holly, and I. We decided that, while Snap! as an organization will not continue, its legacy and the love of the arts it spawned will, through this community’s many dedicated arts groups and leaders, current and upcoming.

To all of the artists, sponsors, our team, board members, volunteers, partners, vendors, my family, friends, and the community: I am forever grateful for your support, love, and genuine kindness and enthusiasm over the years. Thank you all for the opportunity to share a big part of my heart with you. I hope that as you approach each and every new day, you find the gems of beauty that inspire your life through art.
